Instead of focusing on far you are from your desired goal, maintain a positive attitude and imagine that... the goal has already been achieved - you have a job that you love, you get a great salary for it and you are appreciated every day!
Great, huh? How does that make you feel? You probably feel light and your stomach is churning with excitement! Try to evoke those feelings in yourself in combination with the image – that’s what visualization is all about.
Visualize
Visualization is nothing more ebay data
than playing in your mind a movie you directed called “My Perfect Life.” Close your eyes and imagine your dream job: feel how comfortable you are sitting in your chair, run your fingers across your desk, look at the super interesting project you are currently working on… Enjoy?
Let's go further: in your imagination, interact with people, work, act and imagine everything working out great for you! In short - try to be an active hero of your film!
And if you can’t yet create an exact picture in your head, a vision board will help. Search the Internet for photos, drawings, designs, words, and other elements that help you visualize your ideal job and create a desktop wallpaper (or display it on a wall in your home).
An inspiration board is not only a creative task – created in accordance with your own desires, it is the best inspiration for development, and if you look at it every day, it becomes a motivation to act!
With or without an inspiration board, commit to visualizing your desire every day. Don’t think of your vision as an unattainable dream or goal. Instead, step into your desired role and feel like you already have it!
Affirm
How can I feel like I already have it when I see every day that I am not there yet? Affirmations will help you!
The purpose of affirmations is to open you up to new possibilities and change deeply rooted beliefs. Regular repetition of constructive sentences allows you to look at reality differently, and ultimately takes you to a place where what you affirm is true!
The key feature of affirmations is that they are formulated in the present tense , e.g. "my job gives me happiness and money", "I am offered interesting tasks that develop me", "I attract the ideal job, recruiters find me themselves!"
But for an affirmation to be effective, you have to believe in it! If the statement is too far removed from how you currently feel, you may feel dissonant.
Then create an affirmation that will be easier to accept , e.g. instead of: "I have my dream job", repeat: "I open myself to new opportunities every day" or "I create my dream career every day".
Write down the affirmations that best suit you and repeat them as often as possible – in the morning after waking up, while brushing your teeth, on your way to work, in all stressful moments and before going to bed.
Let positive thoughts become your new habit!
