The latest product of Yakut cinema – a real regional Russian phenomenon of the last decade – tells about a released prisoner (Yura Borisov), who returns home to a small Yakut working settlement, where his father and 17-year-old younger brother live. The hero gets a job in a gold mining team, but is deceived and eventually steals the gold, after which he goes on the run with his brother.

5. "North Pole" - a film about the record-breaking voyage of a Soviet submarine
We included this film in the list of the most anticipated nepal mobile database films of 2024, but, as often happens, the premiere was delayed. However, in early 2025, the work of director Alexander Kott, best known for "Brest Fortress", is finally ready to meet with viewers.
The film tells the true story of the first Soviet nuclear submarine K-3 "Leninsky Komsomol", which managed to reach the North Pole in an underwater voyage in 1962. The main roles are played by Andrei Merzlikin and Yevgeny Mironov.
The North Pole will be released in cinemas on February 27.
6. "The Monkey" - a film based on a story by Stephen King
The new horror film by director Osgood Perkins, who recently shot the extremely successful horror film Longlegs with Nicolas Cage, will tell the story of a toy monkey that is possessed by some powerful evil. Twin brothers Hal and Bill (Theo James), who have known the creature since childhood, will try to stop the creepy figure with drums.

7. Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy – a film about the new adventures of the beloved heroine
