Your design should focus on content. Simplify: Where possible, keep styles and colors unified.
Here's a really basic example that I mocked up for this post based on the section above.
We chose two key summary metrics for organic traffic:
Organic session with smooth weather
In this case we have done a basic version of "adjusting" for the weather by simply showing year by year!
We have kept the colors clean and unified.
We have clean labels and, based on austria number data discussions, we have decided to keep organic sessions above attributed revenue.
(Those of you with sharp eyes may notice a small bug. The dates in the x-axis are written wrong by 1 day; this was due to some temporary interruptions on my part. Don't repeat this in your original report!)

We need a report to help us make a decision. Choosing a target for a dashboard is usually pretty easy. Choosing the decision that is going to help us make our report is usually a bit more difficult. Most importantly, we need to decide:
Is there a decision to be made or are we gathering knowledge for our own sake?
