Whereas if, before getting in the car,

Post by jrineakter »

So, systematically, when I had good times, I tended to be afraid of losing them, which is completely counterproductive, because… And when things are going well, they have to go well. So, I ask that someone give me, grant me this serenity when things are going well.

I also ask for serenity when things are not going well, when there are problems. And rather than making problems into huge things that I will not be able to overcome, I ask for help to focus on the present, on today. What can I do today until I go to bed to make this problem less serious?

So, here, you see, we find ourselves in a subject that touches almost all philosophies and all religions, it is living in the present. Buddhists talk about it a lot, living in the present. The past, we can no longer change it; the future, it is not yet here, so, let us focus on the present. And I ask to be given serenity if it is going well and if it is not going well, quite simply.

And finally, I ask to have joy. So, I talked about it in an episode of Marchez Avec Johan in June, " it's really a new saying for my life ". So, you can find this content either on the blog or directly on the podcast.

And it's... The inspiration that I had came from Tolstoy, who is a famous writer, very famous, and I read one of his books called A Calendar of Wisdom . It's a book where there are, every day, different quotes, so you read a page a day. And one of them impacted me and I really made it, I made this sentence part of my philosophy of life. And this sentence, I'm going to read it to you, it's: "Life was given to you so that you might experience joy. When you are not joyful, look for your mistake. A wise person is always joyful." I'm going to read this sentence again: "Life was given to you so that you might experience joy. When you are not joyful, look for the mistake. A wise person is always joyful."

So, here, you see, this, I find, gives a new perspective. Sometimes, we say to ourselves "I'm not in a good mood", as if it's something that falls on us. But we can very well push ourselves to have joy as our default behavior. In any case, that's what I'm asking in this little morning and evening meditation: I want to have joy, I want to smile, I want to be happy to live, because each day lost is a day that I will never have again. So, the fact of pushing yourself to that, and it's... here, this point, it's important in the morning especially, if you push yourself in the morning to be joyful, you will be all day long.

It happened to me in the past, for example, to go out and maybe I didn't sleep well, I ate something that didn't suit me, I don't know, but I wasn't happy. And inevitably, when you're not happy, well you give off bad energy, you don't smile, so others will tend to send that energy back to you, not to smile, and that inevitably creates conflicts, and you have a bad day.

to leave with your family, you say to yourself: "I'm going to be happy, I have to be happy. I'm going to have a great day with my family, I'm lucky", well already you're going to smile, you're going israel whatsapp number data to make jokes, it's going to create a good atmosphere, and this good atmosphere will come back to you.

So, it's just actually putting joy as the default behavior. And what I really like is when you're not joyful, look for your mistake. So, it's a mistake not to be joyful, it's a behavior that we should have by default, we should be joyful by default. And it seems little in the end to have this default behavior. Sometimes, we forget it. And when we forget it, that's when we have bad days. So, I just ask for help to have this joy, this choice to have joy.

So, you see, it doesn't seem like much. I talked to you about gratitude, I talked to you about faith, I talked to you about serenity and I talked to you about joy. And yet, really, for me it's something that changes life, because it allows you to focus, and repeating them to yourself twice a day at the most important moments, in the morning before starting your day, in the evening before going to sleep and when your unconscious is working, because at night, we're not unplugged, like a computer that does nothing, our brain is working, there are a lot of things that we don't know about the unconscious and I'm convinced that this unconscious can do a lot for us. So, repeating these things to yourself brings a lot.
