Under a memorandum of understanding signed

Post by shapanwwuom »

The partnership targets exporting 2 tonnes of green fuel per year, positioning India as a leader in global decarbonization efforts.

AM Green, a leader in green hydrogen and ammonia production, has partnered with DP World, a global leader in logistics, to build a sustainable supply chain for green fuels and chemicals. This collaboration will significantly strengthen global decarbonization efforts by facilitating smooth exports to major consumer markets.

DP World and AM Green will jointly develop logistics and warehousing infrastructure to facilitate the export of 1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of green ammonia and 1 MTPA of green methanol worldwide. These include:

Develop port infrastructure within the AM green zero-pollution industrial cluster to promote global exports,
Developing bottling infrastructure for green ammonia chinese overseas europe data and methanol supplied from AM Green plants in Dubai, India and Southeast Asia ,
Build strategic terminal infrastructure in the EU, Far East and UAE to provide the required zero-carbon supply chain and support the transition to a low-carbon economy.
AM Green is developing multiple projects across India to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), green ammonia, green hydrogen, chemicals and biofuels using renewable energy including solar, wind and hydropower. Its ambitious goal is to reach 5 MTPA of capacity by 2030, which will contribute significantly to India’s net zero capacity target and global decarbonization goals. The company has taken the final investment decision for its 1 MTPA green ammonia project in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, on India's east coast.

Mahesh Kolli, Founder of Greenko Group and AM Green , said: “We are committed to contributing to India’s ambition to grow as a green energy exporter and we are delighted to partner with DP World to build a world-class infrastructure for the global green molecule movement. This strategic partnership will enable us to efficiently export green ammonia, green methanol and other sustainable fuels, strengthen the global green supply chain and support the global shift to a low-carbon economy.”
