Today I'm going to show you a really good but barely rolled out feature of ChatGPT - the shareable links . As always, I'll explain the feature, the advantages and try to answer the most important questions. Let's get started!
What are shareable links in ChatGPT?
Shareable Links is a new feature that allows users to turkey number dataset create a unique URL for a ChatGPT conversation that can then be shared with friends, colleagues, and collaborators. This provides a new way to share ChatGPT conversations, replacing the old and tedious method of sharing screenshots.
Shareable links allow you to let others see – and even continue – interesting, funny or insightful conversations with ChatGPT . This even works if you have used ChatGPT plugins . These will be displayed accordingly.
Where can I find shareable links?
Shareable links are being rolled out to users gradually. They are currently only available on the chat.openai.com website and not yet in the iOS app. But don't worry, iOS support is in the works and coming soon!

How do I create a shareable link?
To create a shareable link, simply hover over a chat and click the share link. You'll then be able to see a preview of the conversation snapshot you're about to send. You'll then have the option to share the link with your name or anonymously by clicking the three dots.

If you want to update the link after it's created, you can open the share modal for that conversation and click on the three dots with options to update the name visibility (share your name or make it anonymous). There you can also delete the link if necessary. To save, you need to click on the green button that says "Update and Copy Link".
Who can access shared links?
Anyone who has access to a shareable link can view and continue the linked conversation. Of course, sensitive content should not be shared, as anyone with the link can access the conversation or share the link with other people.

If you've created a link that you no longer want to be public, you can delete the link or delete the conversation. The conversation will no longer be accessible via the shared link, but if a user has imported the conversation into their chat history, deleting your link will not remove the conversation from their chat history.
