In the area of protecting personal data of users on the Internet, the following regulations are in force in Belarus:
Law of the Republic of Belarus dated May 7, 2021 No. 99-Z "On the Protection of Personal Data"
On November 15, 2021, the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated May 7, 2021 No. 99-Z "On the Protection of Personal Data" came into force . This law establishes the foundations of legal regulation of issues related to the protection of personal data, as well as the rights and freedoms of individuals when processing their personal data.
According to the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Protection senegal email list of Personal Data", personal data is any information that allows directly or indirectly identifying a person. This means that the following information can be considered as personal data, but is not limited to it:
Passport details (full name, gender, date of birth, passport series and number, personal number, registration and residential address).

Genetic data (DNA, blood type).
Special personal data (race or nationality, political views, trade union membership, religious or other beliefs, health status, sexual life, fact of administrative or criminal liability).

In addition, the law introduces the concept of "publicly available personal data" - this is information that is distributed by the person himself or with his consent. This may be data published by the user on his pages in social networks or indicated on dating sites.
However, the law does not specify whether personal data includes information about user behavior on websites and in applications, cookies , and other data that does not allow for the precise identification of a person.
Decree No. 422 of 10/28/2021 "On measures to improve the protection of personal data"
Decree No. 422 of 10/28/2021 "On measures to improve the protection of personal data" provides for:
Creation of the National Center for Personal Data Protection (NCPPD).
Clarification of additional measures to protect personal data.
Training of officials whose responsibilities include processing and protecting personal data:
For owners (holders) of information systems, owners of critical information technology facilities, as well as organizations carrying out licensed activities in the technical and (or) cryptographic protection of information.
For operators (government agencies, legal entities of Belarus, other organizations, individuals and individual entrepreneurs) independently or jointly with other specified persons organizing and (or) carrying out the processing of personal data.
The responsibilities of operators have been supplemented.
