Pre-select
Now review everything you have collected with a view to further use. You could save the entire collection before you pre-select. Or you could save the selection from this step in a new folder. The advantage of this type of review: A lot of the content that would first be listed in a comprehensive content audit in order to then be assessed no longer requires any follow-up work.
For example, discard content based on the following criteria:
The content is no longer up to date. It does not correspond to the current state of my/our expertise.
Ephemeral content. It refers to past events, happenings or personal details. Note: If the content is ephemeral but could still be used for similar future opportunities, please keep it for now and mark it accordingly.
No longer relevant from a sales or strategic perspective. It no viber data longer relates to products or services that we want to sell in the future.
Personnel no longer up to date. It refers to people who are no longer in the company or to personal expert knowledge that is no longer available.
Rights are unclear. We do not know exactly who the author of this image or text is, and therefore do not know whether we are allowed to continue using it. Or the usage rights have expired. - Note: If you find that this content could obviously be used apart from that: Make a note that you may want to create or purchase a similar image or text yourself later.
Otherwise of no interest. Obviously not of any further use for various reasons.
Step 3: List
All content that is currently in the folder is included in a list or table, a so-called content inventory , and described in more detail there. This inventory is aimed at the future. It forms the basis for your growing content inventory. You will continue to maintain it and use it in future revisions of your content.
