Resource-based and non-resource-based activities

For automated activities, we distinguish the basic concept, namely:

Resource-based activities (effort driven)
Non-resource-based activities (no effort).
Let's start by clarifying this last concept.

An activity is resource-intensive when, by assigning more task-type resources, the duration of the activity decreases.
An activity is not resource-intensive when, by assigning more task-type resources, switzerland rcs data the amount of work assigned to each decreases but the duration remains constant.

Example
Suppose I have a task to do alone, which involves moving 1000 bricks from one corner of the room to another. It
takes me a whole day (8 hours) to move them alone.
If one of my friends lends me a hand, it takes both of us half a day (the duration of the activity is halved to 4 hours).
If two other friends lend us a hand, the four of us only take 2 hours.
This type of activity behavior is called "resource-based."
The more resources I put in, the less the activity takes.
