Personal account
The first account that each of us has is a regular personal account on Facebook. For example, my account – Artur Jabłoński. It serves as a method of logging in, both to the private part of Facebook, as well as to its business part.
Sometimes I get questions about whether it's possible to manage ads without having a private account. Yes, there were times in Facebook's history when it was possible. But now it's impossible, because the system also verifies who we are in this way.
If we were doing something that wasn't entirely legal, which I certainly don't suspect you australia rcs data of, then we know who to catch.
company account/fanpage on Facebook
Fanpage / company website
This is simply a page of our company that we set up specifically to publish content on.
And for most people, the knowledge ends with the fact that there are just these two types of accounts
On Instagram, things are a bit different. We can have a personal and private profile there, but at the same time we can switch this profile to a company profile. In other words, it then becomes a so-called professional profile, which is associated with expanding the possibilities of conducting activities on this profile. For example, only such profiles can advertise. They also have full access to statistics.
Interestingly, similar or different systems also function in other social media portals. It is constructed similarly on LinkedIn, for example, but not on Twitter. There is no longer any separation in terms of function, capabilities or method of operation between company and personal profiles. Each portal therefore has its own methodology.
The second type of account is a fanpage
