During the AI Jorney conference, Sergey Plugotarenko, CEO of ANO Digital Economy, and Alexey Sidoryuk, Director of the Digital Transformation of Industries direction, presented the results of the study "Efficient Domestic Practices Based on Artificial Intelligence Technologies in the Manufacturing Industry". ANO Digital Economy conducted this study jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, as well as the largest IT and digital companies.

use artificial intelligence (AI), cayman islands phone number list and in industry this share is even smaller - 16%. As Sergey Plugotarenko noted, the financial sector and IT use AI most actively. These industries have high labor costs, which in IT is further aggravated by a shortage of personnel, respectively, the task of relieving employees from performing routine procedures is acute.

During the business breakfast "How can businesses unite for the mass implementation of AI in industries?" Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko also named transport as one of the industries where AI is most actively used. AI is quite widely used in optimizing traffic flows in cities and ship routes, especially in the Arctic.

But at the same time, as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank PJSC Alexander Vedyakhin noted at the same business breakfast, up to half of Russian companies do not plan to implement systems using AI. Also, many limit themselves to such simple technologies as chatbots, optical text recognition systems or voice assistants. According to the authors of the study, this is due to the low level of awareness of company owners and management about solutions using AI and the effect they can have.

However, this effect is quite noticeable. Thus, during the business breakfast "How can businesses unite for the mass implementation of AI in industries?", the Director of Digital and Information Technologies of Sibur, General Director of Sibur Digital LLC Alisa Melnikova called AI a working means of increasing efficiency. At the start of the project, in 2016, Sibur expected an additional 10% increase in profits by 2024, and, as Alisa Melnikova noted, this level will most likely be achieved earlier. However, achieving such results is impossible without building an infrastructure for collecting and processing data. Also, in her opinion, a limiting factor is the lack of necessary skills among personnel.

According to Oleg Tretyak, acting director of digital transformation at Gazprom Neft, AI allows for a year-long reduction in the time needed to explore oil and gas fields. And Gazprom Neft is already producing its own "digital oil."
