Experts rate Bing's image search engine positively, as it allows you to narrow down your search by criteria such as size and dominant color of the photo, format, extras and design. Video search is also highly rated.
A more controversial feature is Bing's categorisation amazon data of results. While it may be interesting that if you search for the phrase 'Madrid', the search engine classifies the results into maps, hotels or trips, for some experts, such as von Stülpnagel, these thematic suggestions cause between 60% and 70% of the first results to be of no use to the user. Equally controversial is the preview, as mentioned above.
One problem highlighted by experts is the fight against spam in search engines and the manipulation of results lists. In this respect, Google has set the bar very high and, although Bing is not yet of great interest to spammers , if its audience grows it will start to become interesting.
Bing will also have to improve the speed with which it provides results, although the current speed is not that bad, especially in light of Google's move with its new Caffeine technology.
