Why Open a Company Page

Post by arafatenzo »

In the previous post I talked about how to do personal branding with LinkedIn , or how to use the social network of professionals (mostly managers and entrepreneurs) to promote their online identity. LinkedIn also offers companies some adequate tools to bring visibility to their products or services and, above all, to give visibility to their corporate culture.

Yet, despite 400 million members from 200 different countries, only 57% of companies have opened a Company Page on LinkedIn. In the following lines I will try to explain how to best optimize this tool that allows you to do business with LinkedIn and how to use it to reach your audience.

Why Open a Company Page
Opening a company page on LinkedIn will allow you to make the quality of your brand or product visible internally (to employees) and externally (collaborators, customers) and you will be able to increase its notoriety . The added value of LinkedIn for companies comes through the Company Page, a tool that allows you to:

communicate news,
present new products or services of your business,
gather prospects to cultivate,
recruit staff (option "Job Offers").
However, not everyone has the ability to open a jamaica phone number company page on LinkedIn. The private profile that will manage LinkedIn for your company must have at least an intermediate level of effectiveness (the indicator that appears next to the profile photo) and a minimum number of connections, ideally around 200.

In addition, the company whose company page you intend to open must have a proprietary domain and an active email on that domain through which LinkedIn will verify the legitimacy of the request to open the company page. Therefore, the private profile that will open the page must have that company email associated on LinkedIn.
