Why a Google Ads checklist when Google Ads offers me recommendations and a change history?

The recommendations are often only very superficial optimization approaches. This doesn't make them less important, but they alone won't get you very far. Furthermore, you shouldn't simply accept every recommendation with a click; instead, you should critically examine them first.
