Analyzing Instagram pages necessarily includes studying publication statistics. This is the only way to understand which posts work best, which topics are interesting to the audience, and which content formats bring the greatest reach and engagement.
Instagram audit
Start by studying your most successful posts. Choose 10–20 publications that have received the most likes, comments, saves, and a high total interaction rate (you can check this in analytics services). Determine bank data what they have in common and why they worked better than the rest.

Most often, visually attractive photos and videos get more likes. There are more comments under posts with questions, topics under discussion, and provocative statements. Useful materials gain saves and reposts: instructions, selections, checklists, life hacks, and tips. Based on the data obtained, you can adjust the content plan.
It’s equally important to understand what content isn’t worth wasting your time on. Pick 5–10 posts with the fewest reactions and figure out what’s wrong with them. Perhaps the visuals weren’t great, the topic wasn’t interesting, or there was no call to action.
If you have headings or categories, look at how they work as a whole. Sometimes one post can be a hit, but overall the heading shows weak results in terms of engagement. In this case, think about whether it is worth spending time on it any longer.
Videos, carousels, texts with images — audiences respond differently to different types of content. Analyze the statistics to find out which formats get more views, likes, and comments. Video content may be trending, but that doesn’t mean it’s right for your audience. If videos get few views, while carousels with useful information get a high response, bet on what really works.
