The Investigative Committee of the Moscow Region has opened criminal cases on the fact of abandoning a child in danger and failure to fulfill responsibilities for raising a minor. The prosecutor's office has also begun an investigation into the girl's family.

The girl’s mother told the Moscow 24 TV channel that the child’s grandmother suffers from a severe form of dementia and other mental illnesses.

The mother denied rumors about frostbite on her extremities, emphasizing that doctors examined the child.

"The girl was examined by all the specialists - a neonatologist, a surgeon, a pediatrician, an X-ray was taken. Today I called the local pediatrician again, there is no temperature. There is a slight redness of the throat," the girl's mother notes with relief.
