What is Meta Verified?

Post by ritu2000 »

The previously free and prestigious blue ticks on Facebook and Instagram are actually not easy to get, and so far only people in the public eye or with a high profile have been able to get them. This is intended to give users more security with regard to fake profiles and to verify the authenticity of the accounts. With the new subscription model, anyone can get a blue tick for a monthly fee.

Zuckerberg imitates Musk?
After Elon Musk recently released a very similar model netherlands phone number list on Twitter, Mark Zuckerberg is following suit and offering a paid subscription model of the blue tick.

The advantages of Meta Verified:
Authenticity and security on the platform
Direct access to support
Better protection against fake profiles
Visibility and reach should be able to be increased further
And of course: The Blue Tick
The whole thing is expected to cost between €11 and €14 per month. The payment model has already started in New Zealand and Australia!

Will everyone soon have a blue tick?
With the new subscription model, Meta wants to increase security on the platform, and the previously highly regarded blue tick will probably no longer be anything special. The blue tick is not available for companies for the time being, and we are excited to see how the whole thing will establish itself in the future.
