There is also a lot of discussion about the ageing population, and this often concerns cutting back on the elderly. However, this is not a solution. As stated in the chapter on facts and figures, the ageing population only causes about 15-25% of the cost increases in healthcare. "The other causes are probably elsewhere." Fortunately, efficiency improvements through innovation offer a great deal of potential, with which we can easily cope with the increase in healthcare costs. Only when we have tackled all the inefficiencies will there be reason to start talking about no longer reimbursing expensive medicines for people with rare diseases such as Pompe and Fabry disease. This was proposed in July by the board of health insurance companies, but was dropped again after public protest .
Co Politiek learned a lot from this book about co-creation projects. “The most important success factor for turkey telegram data this initiative was that it did not originate from a rationale or business plan. It originated from enthusiasm and that is how it came about. Co-creation is hard work. It does not happen by itself. You have to drag and pull, and you have to enjoy that.” The book was ultimately written thanks to the contributions of 125 co-authors. The chapters themselves were written by a group of twelve different authors.
The interesting thing about this project is that it has developed organically. The website has been added, the competition element has been toned down. The project is therefore not finished with the publication of the book. “We have just started preparing for phase 2: further implementation. We have received another 40 new ideas that are not yet in the book, and innovations are still being registered. We want to get started with this.” So anyone who still has an idea can still register with the initiative and hopefully we will soon see the results of all the innovation.
