Tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google Hangouts are currently on everyone's lips. They have made it their mission to shed light on the situation - or, to be more specific, to offer an alternative to email. Around 60% of DAX companies are currently using Slack. At first glance, these tools , which support both asynchronous and synchronous communication, are modern chat systems. But there is more to these web-based solutions. Employees can search, comment on or subscribe to these topic areas or channels as they see fit.
