SD-WAN and SASE: Collaboration and Standards Needed

SD-WAN and SASE revenues are expected to grow significantly in the coming years, but a number of barriers need to be addressed, according to a survey by MEF , the global industry association for network, cloud and technology service providers, IT Pro Today reports.

Delivering SD-WAN and SASE services to enterprises relies on cloud and service providers to integrate various software and hardware solutions. It is clear that combining multiple point solutions to enable the deployment of complex services can be challenging and problematic.
MEF recently conducted a survey of its members to better cambodia mobile database the challenges they face. This includes service, software and hardware technology providers who have joined the organization to collaborate to define standards and best practices for enterprise digital transformation.
Specifically, the association interviewed 36 experts from 10 service providers located in various geographies. The vast majority of SD-WAN managed service providers surveyed forecast revenue growth of 30% or more in 2022. All service providers surveyed have elements of a SASE offering or plan to implement a SASE solution in 2022. Most of the providers that offered SASE in 2021 expect revenue growth of at least 50% in 2022 (from a small base).
