Trends and Prospects

Valentin Makarov also drew attention to the fact that the sharp expansion of the use of remote work for programmers led to the equalization of wages in all regions of Russia to the level of the two capitals and cities with a population of over one million. This trend was superimposed by the growth of digital transformation markets and the corresponding increase in the need for IT specialists, which caused a sharp aggravation of the shortage of personnel capable of participating in digital transformation projects.

Deputy CEO of EPAM Artak Oganesyan, characterizing the current moment, identified five key technological trends:

transition to digital channels for interaction not only with clients but also with employees, robotization to reduce manual labor;
growth in the adoption of open source software due to import substitution, the need to reduce costs and adapt more quickly to changes;
growing demand for building data platforms, MO and AI projects and clouds due to the growth in the volume of collected data and the development of IoT;
development of digital ecosystems, “uberization” of various aspects of activity, when more and more businesses are drawn into the orbit of such centers of attraction as Yandex, Sber, Mail.ru Group, Tinkoff, etc.;
growing interest in the concept of sustainable jamaica mobile database ESG and the transition to the actual implementation of IT tools to support it.
The global growth of interest in the ESG agenda, as well as the presence of real cases of implementing AI tools to support this concept, was also noted by Dmitry Dyrmovsky, CEO of the CRT group of companies. In addition, he identified the following trends:

the pandemic has triggered investments in digitalization. The focus has shifted from technological breakthroughs to solving urgent problems, which has led to the scaling of proven cases;
the audience has adapted to communicating with voice and text assistants. Governments and businesses around the world will increase the implementation of virtual assistants in their processes;
robots will become increasingly “smarter”: developers are moving away from deterministic algorithms to neural networks;
the future of facial biometrics lies in AVI (Actionable Video Intelligence) platforms, which allow moving from basic to more complex analytics, including predictive;
the state's attention will be stimulated by the regulatory control of biometrics. This will help to neutralize its uncontrolled use and strengthen data protection. Updates may require quick adaptation and reaction speed from key market players;
growing interest in the ethics of AI applications.
Here are three digital transformation trends listed by Igor Kirichenko, executive director and member of the board of directors of NAUMEN:
