Content seeding is an integral and important part of a successful content marketing strategy. In times of Facebook and Co., users act as multipliers to maximize traffic. The goal of seeding (sowing content) is not only to spread and distribute good and effective content, but ideally to set in motion a viral distribution effect.

Active and Passive Content Seeding
The sown content should give you an automated growth in reach, so that further contacts for your company sprout from the content seed. In the best case, the content is combined with direct lead generation, e.g. in the form of a newsletter registration or filling out a contact form. Do you reach users with your content via classic, paid advertising media (active seeding) such as the online marketing channels social media advertising and search engine advertising, or are you found by them (for example via a blog iran mobile numbers list post) (passive seeding). Ideally, users should also recommend the content to others and thus successfully continue the seeding. This, in turn, only succeeds if your message hits home with your target group and triggers their impulse to pass it on. A clear call to action as well as forwarding links and social media buttons are therefore necessary here.
Active/passive content seeding
With “free” seeding, there are still costs involved in producing communication tools such as newsletters, text, teasers, images, videos, etc. that are used to draw attention to the campaign.
1. Planning phase of content seeding
In the first phase, the KPIs (key performance indicators) for the campaign are determined, such as visitor numbers, number of likes, leads or the amount of sales. This should be discussed with the relevant decision-makers in the company at a kick-off meeting so that there are no deviations in the later process. Furthermore, the schedule must be determined when it comes to planning several content campaigns over a certain period of time. The budget seems to be the most important point, because what good are great ideas and ambitious goals if the funds are not available to achieve them.
