How to change the direction of rotation of the fan on the CPU?

Post by monira444 »

I encountered the problem for the second time. After a short time after startup, there is a spontaneous transition to standby mode and that's it, it is not possible to bring the computer out of this state. Last time I changed it in the BIOS: "ACPI mode in BIOS should be S3." It seemed to help. Several months passed and everything repeated itself. There are two operating systems XP sp3 and Win7. The error is probably hardware, because the axis does not affect. This time, however, when rebooting, instead of one single beep, one long and several short ones sound (presumably 2). Maybe you can tell me what the system is signaling? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, please, but maybe my problem is not related to this article - HELP! When the system boots, the computer automatically goes into standby mode from which it does not exit under any circumstances, except for the reset button. Sometimes even Windows has not yet loaded (black screen, a large number of numbers). And maybe after loading in 5 minutes or 10,30. But after continuous 4 hours of continuous work, it will not go into standby mode. What is this and how to fix it? Should I contact a specialist?

please help me with my problem, the thing is that I have had Windows for not more than a week, or even a couple of days, and it doesn’t start anymore, I can’t understand the reason, I’ve installed everything, the same thing! help me with advice! thank you in advance!

My computer often turns off and I don't know why, or the viber data power supply, or something else. And I have to sit and wait for half an hour. And this happens to me often. Especially when I'm on the Internet. And where can I buy literature on computer repair and maintenance? Please help.
I have a problem with this article. When I start computer games (any now. If there were a couple before, now all) a window pops up saying "warning temperature too high check your fan and heatsink". The fans used to make noise, but now the computer works almost silently. I cleaned it from dust, it didn't help... The computer turns off very quickly, about 15 seconds. And before, a lot of time (20 seconds) was spent only on "windows shutdown". The question is, what to do?))

A friend brought the system unit to look at. He said that it shuts down soon after startup. Using Everest, I found that the CPU temperature was 128C!!! and 1 core 112C!!! 2 core 108C!!! The numbers are truly fantastic. I checked the thermal paste and replaced it to clear my conscience. By the way, the cooler is not the weakest Thermaltake BigType 120. I adjusted the speed to max. I started it up and the temperature was normal. 37/40/47C without load. I checked the temperature for 7-8 minutes - normal. I didn't leave for long (5 minutes) and came back and the computer shut down. I started it up and the temperature was incredibly fantastic. My first thought was viruses. I started CureIT from a CD-rom - a bunch of viruses. I managed to scan for about a minute and a half, then I passed out. Moreover, the radiator on the processor felt like 40C - the utility shows more than 120C. (by the way, the processor is Athlon 5200+) I removed the screw and put it as the second one on another system unit with a Kaspersky… Read more »

You forgot about silicone grease... If the fan (cooler) rotates slowly, then: - Unscrew the cooler - Remove carefully (preferably with a knife blade, since you can damage the adhesive side with your finger) - Clean everything with a dry cotton swab - Degrease with acetone or solvent - Pour a drop of silicone grease inside - Twist the screw and work it until it rotates from a simple blow - Stick the label back

when loading the OS, it doesn't reach the Windows inscription, it reboots immediately after selecting the recovery option, checking the disk for errors didn't help, and Windows from this hard drive starts up correctly on another computer and doesn't ask anything about recovery options, and the hard drive from another computer also doesn't work on this one, automatic reboot is definitely disabled, but the blue screen doesn't pop up, just reboots and that's it, and Windows from Live CD works correctly, and even finds this hard drive, on which Windows doesn't want to start. There are no dumps. More… Read more »
