Growth Quadrant in Market Explorer

Post by anglehimu »

The Growth Quadrant is a new visual widget in Market Explorer that gives you the opportunity to check the competitive landscape and see who the top players are in your market.

The Growth Quadrant divides companies in your industry into four segments:

Niche players: Domains that have a smaller market share than the rest and are growing slowly or not at all. They can be new companies, local niche companies, or even old players that have not had much success recently (or the exploring amazon: the essentials selected country is not their main market).

Disruptive players: their market share is small, but the growth rate is much higher than the market average; they can be startups, well-invested companies or large companies that are entering the market.

Leaders: Their market share is significant and their traffic continues to grow very actively.

Established players: Companies that own a significant part of the entire market, but their traffic growth is not high enough compared to the market growth - it is small or even declining.

Knowing where your competitors are in the growth quadrant will allow you to build a realistic competitive strategy, based on your competitor analysis. Thanks to this new feature, you now know which companies to pay attention to.
