Method 2: Hide the author name by editing the WordPress metadata (block themes)
If you are using one of WordPress’ newer block enabled themes , you can remove the author name from the Post Meta template.
To do this, go to Appearance ” Editor in your WordPress dashboard .

Now navigate to 'All template parts'.
Here, select the “Post Meta” block, click on the list of belize cell phone number three-dot menu and select “Edit”.

You should now be in the site-wide editor.
Here, simply select the “Author” block and delete it. If your interface is too small, simply click the “List View” button in the top left corner, select the “Author” block, click the three-dot menu and select “Delete”.

Don’t forget to make some necessary adjustments in the post’s meta template.
For example, you can remove words like “by” if the author’s name was written as “[Publication Date] – by [Author’s Name].”

To apply the changes, click the “Save” button.
Now when you visit a page or post using the Post Meta template, you will notice that the author name has disappeared.
Method 2: Hide the author name by editing the WordPress metadata (block themes)
