With all the Slack channel ideas you no doubt have, it's easy for things to get messy. But they don't have to.
You can Star important channels by clicking the star icon next to the channel name in Slack, making them easier to find. You can also create custom sections, like folders for channels, by dragging related channels into each section.
This keeps your Slack work environment organized and focused.
2. Use keyword highlighting for specific mentions
Let's say you want to get notified whenever a specific product or customer is mentioned. Click on the name of your work environment, go to Preferences, and view My Keywords to set up the phrases you want to track. This is similar to setting up Google Alerts for all kinds of topics.

3. Use the history buttons to access where you were
Have you ever accidentally deleted a Slack channel from your sidebar? It happens to us all. Use owner/ partner/ shareholder email list the Back or History buttons at the top to get back to where you were.
4. Right-click on the date and time of a message to copy the link to it
If you need to share a message from a channel with another channel or person, you can right-click the timestamp next to the person who shared the message and select Copy Link. You can also hover over the message and click Share.
5. Vote options with the number emoji
An easy way to conduct a poll in a Slack channel is to type out a message with numbered options and react to the message with the number of emojis for each option. Instead of replying with the same message over and over, others can just click on the corresponding emoji reaction to vote and voila, the verdict is in.
