With the popularization of the internet and the advancement of marketing strategies , it is increasingly difficult to capture the public's attention. Currently, on Google alone, more than 80,000 searches are performed per second , and companies are increasingly producing content to answer various questions.

Amidst so much information, you need to stand out. Therefore, by telling a good story, you are not only ensuring that the audience remembers your brand name, but you will also be the beginning of a journey, dj email list generating identification and awakening emotions to inspire action .

The Importance of Storytelling
Nowadays, it's not difficult to list a story that has left a special mark on you, and pop culture is proof of that.

Think fast: what is your favorite movie? Now think a little more: what makes it so special to you? This will probably lead us to the first point — identification.

Identification
Stories, when well told, make you put yourself in the character's shoes . Therefore, this identification establishes an emotional connection, and from there you gain the audience's attention.

Emotion
By establishing a connection with the public , you also trigger their memory, and this trigger is fundamental for the next step, which is the journey.

Journey
A story with a beginning, middle and end (preferably a happy one). This is how the hero's journey we love to follow happens, and this is how the audience's journey can emerge.

Creating a memorable story through creative writing and storytelling can break paradigms, surprise the reader and, by combating their objection, lead them to resolve the challenge they are facing at that moment with your support. Thus, in addition to being a potential consumer, your brand will also occupy a special place in the public's memory.

Practical examples
As we mentioned above, pop culture provides great examples of how creative writing can make an impact. To illustrate our example, we will talk about the film Big Fish (2003), by Tim Burton .

In this film, the protagonist Edward Bloom has a habit of telling the events of his life through fantastic stories full of inexplicable phenomena. Over time, his son William develops an unhealthy relationship with his father, precisely because of his exaggerations. Thus, as an investigator, William remains determined to investigate his father's stories and, only then, begins to understand Edward's motives, becoming sensitive to his noble cause.

See? Good storytelling can use lies to convey the truth, but never to spread a lie and harm others.

Do you have a story that has had a big impact on you and inspired you to take action in your life? Tell us in the comments! We love hearing new stories.

Inbound marketing is attraction marketing. To put it simply, the company produces content on a blog to attract and educate users at different stages of their purchasing journey . It then converts the user through more advanced content on a landing page , and then begins a relationship via marketing automation .

At this stage, the focus is on advancing the lead through the purchasing journey to the final stages, so that they are ready to receive a commercial approach. Here, the digital marketing professional plays the role of choice architect , since all the content that will be used in the email, the positioning of the CTAs, the ordering of the emails and the direction to which solution (product/service) will be presented to the lead, have the power to generate great influence on the decision-making process.

I hope this is the beginning of a learning journey about how human behavior and behavioral economics bring advances in digital marketing.
