The president of Microsoft Spain , María Garaña, has given her vision about the new operating system model presented by Google in an interview for the newspaper El País .
Garaña has expressed his doubts about the supposed success of Chrome, a system that will be fully financed by advertising, and believes that "it is difficult for there to be social will to have binance data an operating system with advertising," and "you have to take into account that 60% of the time you spend in front of the computer you are not browsing the Internet."
The president of the world's largest software company has stated that "all companies are on the path to having a business model and making a living from it" however, she highlights the confusion that is often caused by wanting to introduce "a kind of ideology of the public good."
As for Microsoft 's alternative search engine, Bing, which is in beta version in Spain and is expected to have a 12% market share by the end of the year, María Garaña has assured that with it, "the concept of search engine is being redefined, towards an intelligent search engine that is aimed at the purchase decision."
The company does not seem to be too concerned about Google 's proposal and will soon launch a new version of Windows, Windows 7, which will include a version specially prepared for netbooks.
