Present yourself as a professional

Presenting yourself as a professional doesn't mean putting on a jacket and tie , shaving, or scheduling a meeting in a room we've rented specifically so as not to show off the mess in your office (or bedroom).
Presenting yourself as a professional is important, but not as much as you think.
Let's get this bullshit out of our heads!
From my point of view, a person is a professional even if they show up with a list of oman consumer email long beard and a Ramones t-shirt. A professional is someone who is able to understand my needs and propose adequate solutions .
[clickToTweet tweet=”The #professional is the one who is able to solve the client's #problems.” quote=”The professional is the one who is able to solve the client's problems.”]
When I was an inexperienced freelancer, I happened to sit down with a potential client many times and hear nothing but orders, my knowledge and my professionalism were not respected at all. The worst part of all this is that I accepted this situation without even trying to argue, I was scared of losing my job and I couldn't find the courage to assert myself.
