In 2017, Google removed 112 million adware that installed malware, infected users with viruses, installed trackers that tracked users' online activity. Every year, such ads are becoming more common and more numerous.

Pop-up ads often seem like innocent marketing strategies, but their true intentions can be very harmful. They can cause the following problems (and more):

Introduction of spyware and ransomware
Tracking your online activity
Installing programs for hacking devices.

All of this can happen even if you haven’t clicked on the b2b email list banner ad, as malicious content is installed while the web page is loading; this method is called “malvertising.” Malvertising is becoming more prevalent due to the increasing popularity of laptops, PCs, smartphones, tablets, etc.

All of the ad blockers mentioned in this article are tried and tested. Whichever one you choose, you can be sure that you will no longer risk infecting your device with malicious pop-ups, videos, or banner ads, making browsing the web a more enjoyable and safer experience.
