Marvelous Inc. is a company that is involved in a wide range of entertainment businesses, including the production and commercialization of music and video content, and the planning, production, and performance of stage and musical productions, with a focus on consumer and online games . Amusement machines that operate in amusement facilities are also one of its businesses.

What is the process for developing amusement games at Marvelous? We spoke to three members of the Amusement Business Division AM Development Department, Tsuyoshi Narita, Shinichiro Taga, and Naoki Komagata, who were involved in the creation of the prize game " TRYDECK ," about the nature of their work, what makes working at Marvelous so appealing, and what they find rewarding about their jobs.

, joined the company in 2014. He is primarily responsible for management in this department, which handles everything from the development to the manufacturing of amusement machines.

joined the company in 2020. He is in charge of managing engineers in the development of the machine's hardware. For "TRYDECK," he handles a wide range of tasks, from formulating mechanical specifications during prototyping to software control verification, delivery dates and cost adjustments for mass production, electrical testing, and production guidance.

joined the company as a new graduate in 2017. As a producer for "TRYDECK," he is responsible for everything from planning to release. His work involves not only creating specifications and coordinating plans, but also cost management, outsourcing management, product verification and evaluation, sales support, and operations. In order to bring his plans to life, he studies every day as a semi-skilled worker in a wide range of positions, striving to be able to speak a common language with specialists both inside and outside the company.
