If growth = good, then this summer has been nothing short of spectacular for us (and by extension, for all of you! We’ll get to that in a second). In July, we expanded into the first floor of the office building, meaning we now occupy all three floors. We added a new main conference room, a new casual workspace, several smaller offices, and a ton of extra coworking space (which couldn’t have happened before – we’ve hired 14 new people in just the last two months!). Taking over the entire building has given us the opportunity to realize our vision of transforming our office into a more collaborative environment, meaning we get more done, harder, better, and faster than ever before. It’s been a good summer for us, and now we’re ready to pay it forward.

New Vtiger 6.1.0 Homepage

Yesterday, on our developer mailing list, we announced the taiwanese numbers release of Vtiger 6.1.0 EA. The release includes some important UI changes to maintainable code and more. We've improved existing features, added new ones, and integrated a new secure app marketplace where CRM admins can browse, pay for, download, and directly install extensions that developers have created and posted to the extension store. This means that developers will have free access to a huge open source CRM marketplace - and this is just the beginning. We'll cover each of the major changes in more detail once GA is ready, but for now, let's take a look at what's coming:

PHP 5.4 and 5.5
support MySQLi support
List search
Asterisk (PBXManager) integration
Scheduled reports
Report charts
Click charts
Bulk document editing Document
workflows
RSS
module Our sites module
New application marketplace (Extension Store)

We also closed 100 errors reported on trac.vtiger.com

We invite everyone to test the 6.1.0 EA release by downloading it here ( FOR TESTING ONLY ). Please report any bugs to trac.vtiger.com (and set the target version to "6.1.0 ea").

A patch for downgrading from earlier versions of Vtiger will also be available when we release 6.1.0 GA.
