Where does the path to new donors lead?
The SOS Children's Villages organization (SOS Villages for short) approached us with the desire to create a new website that, in addition to simplifying and making the orientation of its clients more pleasant, will also attract more voluntary donors . They are one of the organization's main financial sources, and therefore their acquisition and retention is crucial for its work. SOS Children's Villages uses them to finance not only foster care, but also preventive assistance to families at risk, crisis assistance, or a halfway house.

We first found out what motivates donors, what the target groups are and how the use of donated funds works in reality. Based on the data we found, our UX designers designed a wireframe for a new overseas chinese in canada data website – simple and user-friendly. The cleverly designed homepage summarizes everything the donor needs to know to make a decision as quickly as possible. The central element is the possibility of directly choosing a one-time or regular donation of 200, -, 350, - or 500, - CZK.

Click and donate
The new wireframe confirmed that the faster the journey (in this case, 1 click on the main homepage banner + entering a card payment), the higher the chance of receiving funds immediately. Seconds are often decisive in the decision to donate money to a good cause - this works in the same way for street fundraising as in the online environment.

Our great graphic designer Petr gave the new website an eye-catching look full of photos and colors. He followed the client's existing visual style and, as always, won with details - Google Analytics, for example, proves how well a simple smiley next to the I WANT TO HELP button can work. People are playful and Petr knows how to take advantage of that .
