WordPress URL Format
WordPress offers more freedom when it comes to slugs. You can edit the URLs of pages and blog posts you upload and change them at any time.
Bad URL Slugs
A poorly structured URL may look like spam or a scam. This can be very off-putting to users and they may not click on it.

This URL may raise some important questions: What is Z? Does this URL point to an About Us page? Are those map coordinates? Why is the word "Open Now" featured? Is it a store?
Let’s take a look at this URL:
s:catalogue.nlaov.auRecord5038390
NLA stands for National Library of Australia, but which uae mobile database record are we looking at?
Incorrect URLs confuse search engines and crawlers. If the URL does not indicate what is on the page, why would a user click on it? Why would they trust that URL? How are crawlers supposed to index NLA pages? Who is searching for "5038390"?
Unless the user is given that number and specifically enters it into a search, how will that page be returned in the SERPs?
It’s always worthwhile to try customizing your URL slug for both user experience and indexing purposes. Make the slug as simple as possible so that users can easily find your page.
