Digitalization for more citizen proximity
Better communication via email between authorities and citizens
Today, it is hard to imagine our everyday lives without email communication. Almost everyone in Europe has an email address, if not several. Without email, both in business and private life, you would quickly bahrain phone number data reach your limits. You have probably checked your email inbox at least once today. It is therefore not surprising that many citizens, due to their usage habits, want to do everything online or by email so that they do not have to call, run to the mailbox or even be there in person for every little thing. This expectation is met by authorities and public institutions, which often do not meet it at all or only inadequately. There is therefore a need for action on the part of the authorities in this area.

Advantages of email over other digital channels
The biggest advantage is that email does not belong to anyone, as it is an open standard. This means that no third party restrictions are possible. This is different for messengers owned by large corporations. There are also no fees for sending messages, such as for an SMS.

You are also independent when it comes to data protection. When communicating via email, you set your own data protection requirements. This means that companies such as Google or Facebook are not able to see your communication. The large number of email mailbox providers also ensures that there is no monopoly formation and thus no dependency on individual providers.

Better digital than by letter
E-mail also has clear advantages over the classic means of communication - the letter. An e-mail does not take at least a day to reach the recipient, but is delivered in seconds. Archiving is much easier because everything is already available digitally. In addition, the recipient can respond to an e-mail they receive directly and without any hassle. The most important point, however, is the price, because e-mails are basically free. At most, there are costs for a professional e-mail marketing tool, but these are hardly significant compared to the costs of postal mailings, especially when the volume of mailings is high.

The well-known email-postcard comparison, which claims that anyone can read what is being sent, has now become a myth. In fact, there are now enough encryption methods and standards that guarantee the secure transmission of messages.
