Adding an account deletion link to the custom user profile page
If you use a custom user profile page , this is a great way to give users the ability to delete their WordPress accounts.
Simply add the following shortcode to your custom profile template:
[plugin_delete_me]Ihr Konto löschen[/plugin_delete_me]
Note: When a user deletes their account, all of their content (posts, pages, custom post types) will also be deleted and moved to the trash .
A user can register a new account with the same email address, but this will not restore the content they contributed earlier. However, as a site administrator, you can restore content from the trash if it has not been permanently deleted.

Bonus: Allows users to edit their comments in WordPress
Not only can you allow users to delete their accounts, but you can also give them permission to edit their comments on your WordPress blog .
By default, WordPress does not allow users to edit a comment once it has been published. This can be annoying if a user discovers a grammatical error or wants to add more content to their message after submitting it.
By allowing users to edit comments, you can build a sense of community and increase engagement on your blog. To do this, you need to install and activate the Comment Edit Core plugin .
Now you need to switch to a user account with the roles you previously selected
