Free eBooks for Project Managers (including Beginners)

Post by monira444 »

Why should you pay attention to e-books for project managers? In the last couple of days alone, I’ve come across 8 or 10 books about “the best resources for startups” or “sound growth tactics,” but somehow project management doesn’t seem interesting, sexy, or worth the attention of the authors. However, in order to grow, all projects need to start, be designed, developed, and of course managed in stages. Even better, we all get to be PMs from time to time, because we all run projects of various kinds.

I am a communications professional by profession, but I find project management books that provide free project management methods useful in my daily work. Therefore, I decided to review a few project management books free e-books for project managers and select the ones that I and my fellow project managers found particularly valuable. Enjoy the list!

Free eBooks for Beginner Project Managers
1. " A Beginner's Guide to Project Management netherlands telegram phone numbers Methodologies " published by Wrike
This is a great resource for people interviewing for a PM job. You’ll likely be asked to talk about different methodologies (or their differences). This guide provides a basic overview and explains some of the most common misunderstandings. What really makes this e-book compelling is its quirky visual approach to content that helps you remember the information. The authors have also included a list of additional resources for people who want to further expand their knowledge.

In addition to being a beginner PM, it is an informative resource for anyone working in software development. Whether you are a programmer or a C-level executive, knowledge of various PM methodologies, concepts, and processes can improve your understanding of what is happening during a project.

2. "Project Management Can Be Easy", published by EasyProjects
This e-book is a great resource for people whose traditional job title doesn't necessarily mean " Project Manager ." As the authors themselves say, it's an e-book for people who simply "have a project that needs to be completed."

I really liked that this book talks very simply about the challenges that PMs face (e.g. controlling politics in a company). The story this e-book tells is also very engaging, although it is about leadership and not necessarily about software development, so it may or may not be a hit.

At the end of the book, readers will find a glossary of definitions and a collection of useful links.
