Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm announced at EA PLAY in Los Angeles that new content will be released for Star Wars Battlefront II after launch, in the form of themed seasons that will allow you to continue your own hero’s journey in an ever-expanding world. All players will have access to this free content , which will include a mix of new locations, characters, vehicles, modes, weapons, Star Cards, and more. You will also be able to participate in live events and challenges that will come with their own rewards.
The first season will be free and coming in December , based on the upcoming film in the series, Star Wars™: The Last Jedi™. Thanks to the collaboration with Lucasfilm, this season will include the characters Finn and Captain Phasma as well as new playable heroes, a new planet known as Crait, a new space map on D'Qar, special events, rewards and other content.
“We listened to player feedback as we developed Star Wars Battlefront II to deliver even more than the first game – an authentic new single-player experience, epic multiplayer, space battles, and solo and co-op play against AI on consoles, ” said Matt Webster, executive producer on the game. “It’s a massive game that spans all eras of the Star Wars films. But how we support the game post-launch is also very important. Our live service is built around the philosophy of our fans playing together, with seasons that add relevant content and special events on a regular basis.”
Gamers in Los Angeles this week will have the chance to get their first taste of the benin phone number game at EA PLAY 2017. There, they’ll play a demo of Theed Assault, set on the Theed map of Naboo inspired by the first Star Wars trilogy, where they’ll experience an updated version of the Galactic Assault mode. They’ll also be introduced to the new Class System, ground and air vehicles like the AAT-1 and Naboo N-1 starfighter, improved team play, and heroes from across the eras including Boba Fett, Darth Maul, Rey and Han Solo. Star Wars Battlefront II is being developed by three of EA’s biggest and most award-winning studios – Motive Studios, DICE and Criterion Games – with the intent to create the best Star Wars video game yet. With three times the content of the previous title, Star Wars Battlefront II allows players to experience the never-before-told story of Iden Versio, an elite soldier of the Empire, in an all-new single-player mode. The game will also feature epic multiplayer battles where players can pilot a First Order TIE fighter in space battles, as well as play as ground troops and iconic heroes and villains from all three eras of Star Wars, including Yoda and Kylo Ren.
This fall, players will travel to a galaxy far, far away with the Star Wars Battlefront II Multiplayer Beta on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Origin. By pre-ordering any edition of the game, fans will get early access to the beta, the chance to play before it opens to the world, and instant access to the Star Card for Yoda’s epic upgraded Lightsaber.
Star Wars Battlefront II is available November 17 for PlayStation®4, Xbox One™, and PC via Origin.
