The increase in the passing score shows

Post by rifat28dddd »

In 2004 (the first UNT) the passing score was 45 points, gradually it increased to 60 points. But in 2008, half of the students did not reach the threshold level, which is why the passing score had to be reduced by 25%. In 2009, it was 45 points, later it increased to 70 points in 2012.

that the state is striving to qualitatively improve the composition cell phone number list of applicants entering Kazakhstani universities. In general, mass coverage of higher education in conditions of a limited number and quality of universities also has its drawbacks, since often in conditions of large groups, a lack of textbooks and technical means, the quality of knowledge obtained also deteriorates. In our opinion, the desire to recruit everyone, as many applicants as possible, so that the university can earn more, worsens the quality of knowledge received by students.

Every year, the competition committee at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan awards grants, and each applicant can become a grant holder and get the opportunity to study for free. The structure of grants reflects the most interesting and priority specialties for the state. If we look at the number of distributed grants, the leaders are:

Healthcare (28%)
Engineering sciences and technology (27%)
Education (22%)
It is encouraging that economic and legal specialties are not in the leading positions. In previous posts on higher education, we clearly showed the oversaturation of our higher education market with students of these specialties.
