In order to evolve and stop being a handful of practices to dissuade the public, scholars began to develop and test more efficient marketing methods, mainly from the 1940s onwards.

Walter Scott carried out a brilliant study on the use of psychology in advertising, showing how the incentive to expected human behavior led the consumer and how it was a useful tool for companies.

Bartels, Piolany and Peer Drucker went on to study “pure” market science more thoroughly, chinese overseas america data turning it into a form of practical thinking, but which for many was considered subjective, almost an art.

Well, as far as that is concerned, I may have some doubts, but when Drucker launched his book “The Practice of Management”, businessmen and investors began to consider marketing as an investment to be considered.

Currently, the lines of thought of traditional marketing are led by Kotler and Keller, through the famous “Marketing Management”, with its first edition in 1967.
