Moscow's Tagansky Court has registered protocols against Google, Telegram, and the American IT company Akamai Technologies, drawn up by Roskomnadzor for refusing to remove information prohibited in the Russian Federation.
"The consideration of administrative materials regarding Akamai Technologies and Telegram Messenger Inc. is scheduled for November 21, and regarding Google LLC - for November 14," court press secretary Zulfiya Gurincuk told Interfax.

Russian courts have imposed multimillion-dollar fines on the companies, some of which have already been collected.
Also, for repeated violations of Russian legislation, Meta (recognized in the Russian Federation as an extremist organization and banned) and Google were subject to turnover fines in the Russian Federation. The court collected almost 2 billion rubles from Meta, and more than 28.9 billion rubles from Google in turnover fines.
